Separate local contact and configuration
The checkout asks for one contact email. It is stored in this tab’s session storage separately from your configuration and financial quote. Its internal revision is not an order reference. Correcting the email does not change the quote’s reference, rate, amount or original one-hour expiry. Invalid contact inputs are not saved. The selected crypto route, configuration, hostname, optional SSH public key and quote also use session storage. Clearing payment details removes the quote; closing a tab normally clears session storage, although browser restoration may retain it. No name, phone number, identity-document upload, password or private key is requested.
External services
Getting payment details contacts the public Kraken price endpoint directly from your browser. Kraken receives the network request and standard connection information, including your IP address. No contact email, configuration, hostname, SSH public key, local reference or receiving address is sent to Kraken. QR images are generated locally and contain only the receiving address. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which receives standard connection information. The local checkout does not send emails or call an order service.
Email-only contact is still personal data
An email address may identify a person. An SSH public-key comment and ordinary connection information may also identify someone. No routine identity-document checks does not mean no personal data or no logs. PrivacyNodes makes no promise of anonymous or untraceable use. When the owner connects the order service, the latest confirmed email is intended for order and service communication; the controller must publish the relevant processing and retention arrangements before that service is enabled.
Support preparation
The support brief helper operates locally and does not send its text. Do not put private keys, seed phrases, passwords, or sensitive customer data into a support brief. No analytics, advertising pixels, or translation calls are added by this application.
Privacy information to complete
The data controller, contact method, processing arrangements, retention periods and applicable rights procedures remain to be identified.
Disclosure and applicable legal process
A DMCA notice alone does not trigger automatic disclosure of customer data. PrivacyNodes complies with legally binding process applicable in Panama, including international procedures recognized there. The scope and validity of a request must be assessed; no universal rejection of foreign requests is promised.
