List the workload before selecting a profile
Record the API processes, database, queue, workers, release overlap and independent recovery copy. For each component, name its CPU behavior, peak memory, working storage, monthly transfer, access owner and update owner. PrivacyNodes supplies a self-managed VPS allocation; it does not install or operate this application stack.
Compare one catalogue candidate
App 2 currently lists 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM, 60 GB storage and 2 TB monthly transfer. Treat those numbers as a candidate boundary. A valid worksheet must still leave room for the host, a release overlap and uncertainty; the profile name does not predict API throughput.
What offshore means for this API purchase
For PrivacyNodes, offshore VPS means a Panama-based operator and a server-country choice of Switzerland or Panama. It does not mean anonymity, immunity from legal obligations, a hidden endpoint, a managed application or a promise about where every backup and external dependency runs. Standard signup asks for an email contact without identity documents; complaints and applicable-use responsibilities still apply. Record Switzerland or Panama as the server country, then list the locations and owners of DNS, certificates, database services, object storage and monitoring separately. Backup countries are unconfirmed, and the country label alone does not measure latency or determine where every data copy resides.
Choose only when the operating record closes
Proceed when the measured workload fits with reserve, the server country is accepted, access and recovery owners are named, and the full prepaid amount is affordable. Otherwise reduce the workload, select another profile, or resolve the unknown dependency first. Next, carry the chosen profile into the configurator and review the resulting quote fields.
