BUYING GUIDE

Evaluate country choice against dependencies

A purchase choice is an operating commitment. Use this record to keep workload, country, payment and recovery assumptions visible.

Map the complete request path

Place the client, DNS, certificate authority, API server, database, object storage, telemetry and outbound integrations on one dependency sheet. Record each known country or provider and mark unknowns explicitly. PrivacyNodes offers Switzerland and Panama for the server without a listed location surcharge.

Measure the path that users actually take

Run representative authenticated requests from the intended client region after a candidate deployment exists. Record DNS, connection, TLS, application and dependency timing separately. A country name cannot substitute for this measurement, and no latency result is promised by PrivacyNodes.

Keep data-location statements narrow

The operator is based in Panama, the selected VPS may be in Switzerland or Panama, and backup countries remain unconfirmed. If a database or object store is external, its location and contract need their own record. Do not infer that every copy follows the VPS country.

Accept or reject the candidate country

Accept the country when the measured path, dependency contracts and team requirements fit. Reject it when a critical dependency or data-location unknown remains a blocker. Next, save the chosen country with the configuration and include it in the deployment handover.
